On Thursday, temperatures top out in the upper 50s with clouds and light rain. ENE flow keeps air quality very GOOD. Cloud deck breaks tomorrow up with partial sun by afternoon. Highs in the upper 60s. NE winds keep ozone GOOD and fine particle concentrations upper GOOD, with potential for an hour or two of MODERATE. Winds swing NNE on Saturday and Sunday, with cool temperatures and light cloud cover. Continued GOOD air quality. No wildfire smoke is expected to impact Rhode Island through the weekend. Air Quality Index (AQI) Level of Concern Value Description Good 0-50 Air quality is considered satisfactory and air pollution poses little or no risk. Moderate 51-100 Air quality is acceptable; however, for some pollutants there may be a moderate health concern for a very small number of people who are unusually sensitive to air pollution.
