is a business and community portal to Brownfields and Urban Redevelopment information on the Internet. In addition to the site's library of brownfields publications the organization publishes a weekly e-newsletter and is trying to put together a national database of sites.
The Brownfields Non-Profit Network is made up of non-profit organizations located throughout the United States involved in the cleanup and redevelopment of brownfields properties.
The Northeast-Midwest Institute
has been a pioneer in the brownfields arena and is widely recognized as a national leader in brownfield program and policy analysis.
The
Smart Growth Network
is a nationwide effort coordinated by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's (EPA) through cooperative partnerships with organizations such as the
International City/County Management Association (ICMA)
which serves as the organizational "home" of the SGN and runs its membership program. Membership in SGN is separate from membership in ICMA. Other partner organizations are developing conferences, workshops, analytical and modeling tools, case studies, policy reports and other programs available to SGN members. They have recently published a report on "Redeveloping Brownfields with Federal Transportation Funds"
