PROVIDENCE - Officials from the federal National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) will hold a public meeting on Wednesday, September 22, from 9 a.m. to noon at the Narragansett Bay National Estuarine Research Reserve to take comments on the Reserve's operations and programs. The Reserve is managed by the Department of Environmental Management.

The meeting will be held in the South Prudence Field Station at the Reserve on Prudence Island, as part of NOAA's three-year evaluation of the Reserve mandated by the federal Coastal Zone Management Act. Access is available through the Prudence Island ferry, which is located in Bristol.
