UPDATE ON MOSQUITO SPRAYING, SOUTH KINGSTOWN AND NARRAGANSETT

PROVIDENCE - Limited ground spraying for mosquitoes in South Kingstown and Narragansett has been postponed from this evening to 7 p.m. tomorrow evening, Thursday, September 7, due to weather which is expected to be too cool this evening for effective spraying.

Mosquito activity is limited when the weather is cool, and successful ground spraying depends on contact with flying mosquitoes.

South Kingstown residents can call 789-9331 for further information, and Narragansett residents can call 782-0637.

Coventry still plans limited ground spraying beginning Thursday evening at 7 p.m., as previously announced.
