PROVIDENCE - The Department of Environmental Management's Division of Agriculture and Resource Marketing will sponsor the Annual Rhode Island Harvest Festival at the Warwick Mall from Thursday, September 14 through Sunday, September 17.

Throughout the mall, shoppers will have the opportunity to see a wide range of agricultural displays. Participating organizations include: Big John's Christmas Tree Farm, Moosup River Farm, Wedgewood Greenhouse, the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) Natural Resource Conservation Service, the USDA Farm Service Agency, the Rhode Island Community Food Bank, the Rhode Island Farm Bureau, Charlie's Sugarhouse, the Rhode Island Beekeeper Association, Westville's Garage John Deere Tractors, and Cabot cheese.

DEM's Division of Agriculture and Resource Marketing will also have a display at the festival that will include information on Rhode Island-grown produce. Brochures on West Nile Virus and Eastern Equine Encephalitis will also be available at the DEM display.

This is the 14^th year that DEM has sponsored the Harvest Festival. Festival hours are Thursday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Sunday from noon to 6 p.m.
