The action is based on federal analysis of current landings data, which projects that the 575,231-pound October 1 - December 31 coast-wide quota for black sea bass will be fully utilized this week. The black sea bass fishery will reopen in both state and federal waters on January 1 with a daily possession limit of 9,000 pounds. -30- |
