DEM ANNOUNCES SEPTEMBER 9 BUSINESS ROUNDTABLE MEETING PROVIDENCE - The Department of Environmental Management announces that it will hold its quarterly Business Roundtable meeting on Thursday, September 9. The meeting will be held from 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. in Room 300 at DEM Headquarters, 235 Promenade Street in Providence. The meeting is open to all members of the business community. The agenda will include brief presentations on state incentive programs to help businesses lower energy costs and on the 2004 Open Space, Recreation, Bay, and Watershed Protection bond referendum, which is Question 8 on the November ballot. Flammable waste and the electronic management of environmental sampling results in site remediation cases will also be discussed.
