DEM ANNOUNCES NEW TELEPHONE NUMBERS, LOCATION FOR OFFICE OF ADMINISTRATIVE ADJUDICATION

PROVIDENCE - The Department of Environmental Management's Office of Administrative Adjudication has been relocated to the Department of Administration building at One Capitol Hill. The Office serves as the administrative court for all environmental matters originating from DEM.

The Office hears all appeals filed related to denials of applications or permits issued by DEM, enforcement actions taken by the Department, and alleged violations of statutes and/or regulations under the jurisdiction of DEM. Such hearings are mandated by the Administrative Procedures Act and by R.I.G.L. Section 42-17.7.

Effective today, the new telephone numbers for Office of Administrative Adjudication staff are as follows:
