Preventing Pollution through Product Changes (also known as “Material Substitution”)
Whenever it’s possible to replace a hazardous substance with a safer material, the benefits of such a switch speak for themselves. A healthy work place makes for a healthy and, therefore, more productive employee. Important: Be careful that when you practice pollution prevention through product changes that you do not substitute one hazardous substance or process for another!
