The General
Permit for Storm Water Discharge Associated with Construction Activity
was issued on September 9, 2003. Included in the newly issued General
Permit are Phase II requirements that require permit coverage for construction
sites disturbing equal to and greater than one acre and less than five
acres (referred to as small construction activity) as well as sites
less than one acre of total land area that are part of a larger common
plan of development or sale if the larger common plan will ultimately
disturb equal to or greater than one and less than five acres.
