WETLAND RESTORATION DATABASE - Database Keys

Potential Buffer Restoration Sites
(Upland vegetation removal sites)

SITEID
The identification number assigned to a potential buffer restoration site. The Site ID is also
used in the Wetland Restoration Plan and the geographic coverage that is viewable through
the DEM map server at http://www.dem.ri.gov/maps/index.htm.

TOWN_SITE
The city or town where a potential buffer restoration site is located.

LENGTH
The length of a potential buffer restoration site in feet.

PRIORITY
The potential buffer restoration sites are grouped into 3 tiers based on the vulnerability of
the site to human impacts and the sensitivity of the contiguous wetland type. The tier 1 sites
are the highest priority to restore.

STATUS_SITE
Restoration planning status of a given site. These data also appear in Tables 7-9 of the
Wetland Restoration Plan.

NEXT_STEP
The first in a series of steps to follow to accomplish restoration of an individual site. These steps (C or D) are described in the Implementation section of the Wetland Restoration Plan.

WET_CODE
RIGIS identification code for the wetland adjacent to the potential buffer restoration site.

WET_TYPE
Wetland type adjacent to the potential buffer restoration site.

WET_SENS
0 means the buffer restoration site is adjacent to a lower sensitivity wetland type.
1 means the buffer restoration site is adjacent to a high sensitivity wetland type.

PLAT
The municipal plat number of a potential buffer restoration site. Sites that cross property boundaries may be located on more than one plat.

LOT
The municipal lot number of a potential buffer restoration site. Sites that cross property boundaries may be located on more than one lot.

TOWN_LOT
The municipality where the aforementioned lot are located.

OWNER_SHIP
Indicates whether the lot is owned by a public or private entity.
