Pipe Delimited File Instructions

If you do not have MS Access, the following pipe delimited text instructions will allow you to bring the tables into Excel for manipulation.

Instructions:

· Highlight all the text, copy, and paste into a notepad document
· Save the notepad document
· Open an excel spreadsheet
· Go under the data tool and select get external data and import text file
· Choose the delimited choice
· Select Delimited as other: pipe: |
· Select column type
· Select finish
· Click on box to start
· You will need to add column titles
