GREAT SWAMP SHOOTING RANGE

Location: The Division of Fish & Wildlife's shooting range is located within the Great Swamp Management Area at 277 Great Neck Road in West Kingston, RI 02892, (401)789-0281.
Hours of operation: The range is open seven days per week from April 1st thru September 30th. Hours are 8:30 AM to 6 PM except on Tuesdays and Thursdays when the range will close at 5 PM. Hours of operation may vary due to staffing, training activities, maintenance requirements and/or environmental conditions.
Permit Required: You must attend a range safety briefing and obtain a permit prior to use. Permit applications are accepted by mail only from February 1st thru September 20th each year. See Section 26 -Target Range Regulations for a complete description of qualifications and requirements.
