Applications for seasonal parking placards for Galilee State Parking Lot G are available for mail-in or in-person submission at RIDEM Division of Coastal Resources at 301 Great Island Rd, Narragansett, RI 02882. Download the application here. Please provide the completed application, copies of vehicle registrations, copy of valid driver’s license, and check made payable to the State of RI. For mail applications, we will mail the completed placard back to the address listed on your application.
The Coastal Resources program is responsible for the development, management, and maintenance of the Port of Galilee, State Pier #9 (Newport), State Pier #4 (Jerusalem), and State Pier #5 (Narragansett). These properties comprise 41 piers and 24 lease holdings with an approximate combined value of over $100 million.
The Port of Galilee is one of the largest commercial fishing ports on the East Coast and is home port to over 250 commercial fishing vessels. State pier #9 is the only state owned facility supporting commercial fishing vessels in Newport Harbor and provides dockage for approximately 50 vessels.
