All new and recertifying communities must apply on-line using the Tree City USA Online Portal. Paper applications will not be accepted. This site has good help options and support as you start your application. Any questions about the website or online portal must be directed to the Arbor Day Foundation staff. If you start an application and do not complete and submit it, it will not be reviewed and approved.

Tree City USA Growth Award

The portal access used for Tree City USA applications is also used to apply for a growth award and is reviewed as part of your TCUSA application.

Tree Campus USA

All new and recertifying campuses apply on the Arbor Day Foundation website on the Tree Campus Application page. While the webpage provides forms for making a paper application, it is recommended that the electronic system be used to ensure the application packages are received successfully for review. This site has good help options and support as you start your application. Any questions about the website or the application process itself must be directed to the Arbor Day Foundation staff. If you start an application and do not complete and submit it, it will not be reviewed and approved.

Tree Line USA

At this time, only paper applications can be submitted, which can be accessed on the Arbor Day Foundation website on the Application for Utilities page. The application must be sent directly to the RI Urban and Community Forestry Program.
