The license year begins March 1st and ends on the last day of February, annually




RI Resident (or current member of the U.S. armed forces)


City/Town Clerks and authorized licensed vendors

Combination (Hunting and Fishing)




Non-Resident Tourist (three consecutive days)


Special Trout Conservation Stamp


RI Resident 65 years of age or older (permanent)


Veterans with a current 100% disability, or
Individuals with 100% Permanent Disability (permanent)

Landowner and the members of their family when fishing from property on which they are actually domiciled. (No license required)
