2nd Annual Quahog Week Kicks Off March 20

PROVIDENCE - Quahog Week, which made its debut last year, returns March 20 - March 25, 2017. The week-long celebration highlights the importance of Rhode Island’s wild harvest shellfish to the state’s history, traditions, and economy. As part of the week, participating restaurants and markets will feature quahog-inspired menu items and deals, and Quahog Week partners will hold special events.

Quahog Chef Demonstration & Dinner March 20

Eating with the Ecosystem At Eating with the Ecosystem’s “School of Fish”, Rhode Island Chef Matt Tortora of Crave Food Services* will educate you on different methods of preparing quahogs into a marvelous dinner you can share with your family and friends. Rhode Island Kicks Off Second Annual Quahog Week On March 20

PROVIDENCE – The Rhode Island Department of Environmental Management and its partners will kick off the Second Annual Rhode Island Quahog Week with a special launch event later this month. Quahog Week, which runs March 20–25, highlights the importance of Rhode Island’s wild harvest shellfish to the state’s history, traditions, and economy. As part of the week, participating restaurants and markets will feature quahog-inspired menu items and deals, and Quahog Week partners will hold special events.

2nd Annual Quahog Week Wraps On Saturday, March 25 With 'Official Beer Of The Clam' At Narragansett Beer HQ At The Guild

PROVIDENCE – Quahog Week is just around the corner, and organizers are preparing for a week full of delicious food from local eateries and markets and fun events. On Saturday, March 25, the week will conclude with a special Official Beer of the Clam wrap party.
