Obtain a Hazardous Waste Generator ID using the following steps:

  1. Step 1: Register with the Central Data Exchange (CDX)

    • Go to cdx.epa.gov/cdx/login.
    • If you are a new user, register for an account. You can use the same login for other EPA programs.
  2. Step 2: Register as an Industry User in RCRAInfo

  3. Step 3: Request your EPA Identification Number

    • After logging into the RCRAInfo system, use the MyRCRAid tool to request a new EPA Identification Number.
    • You will need to provide information about your facility and the hazardous waste you generate.
  4. Step 4: Complete the application

    • The registration process will involve several steps, including providing basic project and company information, environmental compliance details, and a declaration of all hazardous wastes generated.
    • You will need to upload supporting documents, and the system will guide you through the process.
    • You may need to pay fees for registration, depending on your waste generation amounts.

Hazardous Waste Generator Issues

Biennial Reporting: The Department is now accepting 2025 Biennial Report data in RCRA Info. This application replaces both the Florida BRS software and the paper forms that have been used in the past. The report is due on March 1, 2026.

Please note: If you are a new user and have not previously entered Biennial Reports in the RCRA Info database, you must first register at cdx.epa.gov. Once registered with CDX, the user must then register as an industry user. In this system, Generators can request a new EPA Identification Number (MyRCRAid), update an existing EPA Identification Number, update or change contact info, submit Biennial Reports (LQGs only), and use the new electronic manifest (E-Manifest) tracking system. Instructions on how to register are provided in the file below:

Questions regarding any change to specific user permissions in RCRA Info or EPA IDs should be directed towards Jacklyn Olivieri. If you have any other questions regarding Biennial Reporting, please contact Nathan Arruda for more information.
